Welcome To Irchester Surgery & Summerlee Medical Centre

We have started work on Vaccinating our Patients against Coronavirus at both Irchester Surgery & Summerlee Medical Centre. Please be aware that we are Vaccinating our Patients based on eligibility and the amount of Vaccinations that have been allocated to our Practices. Please do not call us, we will call you when the time comes for you to receive the COVID 19 Vaccine. Please don't call the NHS, your local GP or any other local or national numbers. You will be called in due course as long as you are registered with a GP. Please be aware that due to the storage of these Vaccinations, we are booking our patients to have their Vaccination administered at Queensway Medical Centre in Wellingborough, however your invitation will still come from us at the Practice. We are still involved in Administering the COVID 19 Vaccination to patients, our Nurses will be working at Queensway, vaccinating any patient who is booked in, from any Practice.

Frontline health workers and the vulnerable will be the first to be vaccinated and in the meantime we all must continue to follow the guidance. Simple hand washing, social distancing and face covering are all extremely effective
measures and must be maintained as we continue the fight.

Thank you for your patience during this time.

It is advised to protect yourself and your family members from fraud and criminals, remember the following points.

·       The vaccine is only available on the NHS and is free to people in priority groups, the NHS will contact patients when it is your turn. You will not be asked to pay for the vaccine.

·       The NHS will never ask you to press a button on your keypad or send a text to confirm you want the vaccine, and never ask for payment or for your bank details.

·       The NHS are not making house calls to deliver or discuss the vaccine.
