New Patient Registration

New Patient Registration

We welcome any new patients who live within Irchester or Finedon. We also welcome patients in surrounding villages, you will need to reside within our catchment area in order to register with either of our practices.

To register with the practices as an NHS patient at either Irchester Surgery or Summerlee Medical Centre you will need to complete a registration form.

Reception Desk

Patients can register in person by attending the GP Surgery and completing the registration forms.

Named / Accountable GP

All patients registered at the GP Surgery are allocated a named, accountable GP. Patients however have a choice of which GP they would like to see.

What happens next?

Registration process can take up to 2 working days to complete.

You do not need to notify your previous GP Surgery that you have changed GP Practices. Your medical records will be sent to us automatically.

If you are on any medication please provide the GP Surgery of a copy of your repeat prescription.

Once your registration has been successful you will receive a text message from the practice, asking you to complete a short health questionnaire.
