The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the patient themselves, unless we have written consent from the patient to state otherwise.
Any test results (such as Blood, Urine, Stool, CT Scan, X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound etc.) which have been requested by the GP here at the surgery will be returned to us from the hospital. When receiving the result back from the hospital, the GP will then review the result. If your result is abnormal you will be contacted by the GP Surgery to inform you of this.
As it is very busy between the hours of 8.00am to 10.00am, we do ask patients to contact the surgery after 10.00am for any test results.
